The NDPI Service Desk is available to answer or resolve many of your technical issues or questions regarding applications which support the NC State Board of Education and Public Education in the K-12 environment.

Please be aware that some of the applications we support contain sensitive information and require us to validate the identity of individuals requesting assistance. For this reason some individual issues must be reported only by authorized individuals. Please understand that this protocol may cause some delay in our ability to respond to an issue.

If you have questions regarding this please do not hesitate to call and request to speak with a supervisor or manager.

Automatic Remedy Ticket Generator for NC WISE coordinators and assignees: dpi.incidents@its.nc.gov      

To automatically log a new issue to the Remedy system:

Email To:

  • dpi.incidents@its.nc.gov

Email From:

  • Your email address on file in our Remedy system.

Subject line:

  • NCW LEA #
  • Include a brief 100-character or less description of the issue in the Subject line.
  • No more than 100 characters including NCW LEA#

Body of email:

  • Include more details in the body of the email as needed.
  • Attach any files necessary to the email.
  • Verify customer signature line has customer name and phone number
  • Customer's email address must be the customer's current email address in Remedy

To check on the status of OR send updated information for an existing ticket:

  • Email dpi.incidents@its.nc.gov from the email address on file in our Remedy system OR reply to the notification email from Remedy for the ticket in question.
  • Enter the full ticket number including the leading 'INC000000' in the Subject line of the email. (If replying, the ticket number is automatically populated in the Subject line.)
  • Attach any files to the email if necessary.
  • This will create a work info entry in the ticket, attach the sent files to the ticket if applicable, and notify the support person that an update has been made.

Personal Identification - Protect your personal account information for NC WISE at all times. Never give your user name and password identification to unknown callers during telephone solicitations or in email. The Department of Public Instruction will not ask for your user account and password information for NC WISE. Any misuse of personal identification should be reported via email to security-group@dpi.state.nc.us.
